I am so proud of these young people. They have worked so hard this year. Our Language Arts tests are complete, we will be moving onto science next. Here is our schedule:

Raz-kids is a fun reading site. Students can read books, take comprehension quizes and earn points to make their rocket ships awesome and raise their rank! They can also record themselves reading for their own playback or to send to me. They just need a microphone of some sort to record. When you log into Raz-kids, just use the teacher ID:  rdarlingb , then select your child's icon. The password is their first initial and their last name, all lower case, no spaces. This does count as their 20 minutes a day.

 

 

Book orders are typically sent out once a month. You can order online anytime. If you are ordering online, use online code J2WQX to earn even more books for our class. I appreciate any support you can provide.

 

SIS - I will work harder to make sure that SIS is updated. My normal day to update is Sunday evening.

Math - Please keep working on those multiplication facts. We are working on Measurement, Geometry, and data analysis.

Language - Busy, busy, busy! We are working on grammar review and reading comprehension skills. 

Science - We just finished the Rocks and Minerals unit and are working now on fossils. Students have asked if they can bring in fossils/rocks. I told them that it was up to their parents. I cannot be responsible for anything that is lost, stolen, or broken.  Our last unit in science will be soil composition and usage.

Social Studies - Your students are learning about their Utah.

Music - Getting ready for the Utah Program at the end of the school year.
